Looks a bit lonely on that plate, though. Smile

Yeah. Hehe. It's because you can pick whatever you want to eat off the plates of food on the counter, so I picked that one piece of ham and bread and placed it on my plate to shoot a photograph, before we inhaled it.

Probably the most delicious shellfish I've ever tasted. Navajas a la plancha <Grilled razor clams> in Madrid.

Fresh and simply prepared with garlic, salt, parsley, and olive oil. Friekin' delicious!

That's because I ate them all. Beaten

Truth be told I've only eaten razor clams once prior to Madrid....at the Lazy Ox Canteen in Little Tokyo. Although good, the ones I had in Madrid were way better. Smile

The razor clams were absolutely fantastic...but by no means the only thing we ate at that tapas bar, beastie. The clams were just the favorite dish!

Spanish olives

Grilled pork skewers

Some beer and patatas bravas <fried potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce>

Grilled mushrooms with bacon

Green olives with sardines in vinegar

Chipirones <baby squid>

Thank you for your warm welcome, Sengo. Smile

The food was absolutely incredible. The Chorizo sausages were, as they appear, very delicious. Spicy, unctuous, and too addictive for any foodie Smile I'd live off them if they were available to me on the daily....probably not a good thing we can agree!

Here's a nice pic of some mini chorizos we ate on tomato bread in Barcelona at this restaurant called Quinto Pino.

Hehe. I purchased a new Canon digital point & shoot camera before my vacation. Smile
It's much better & faster than using the cellphone camera.
