Yes, I remember you telling me about the 3 "cruises". Considering the circumstances, what was your favourite stop?

Probably England. No language barrier and the people were friendly and polite.

Have fun! w00t! I went to London back in Fall '08 to visit a friend. Not my first visit but it's always fun. The weather isn't the best but they have great museums and awesome architecture, and lots of history. Moreover, the subway system is easy to navigate!

Enjoy.

I'm hoping to check out the following things in London:
- British Museum
- Bukingham Palace
- Hampton Court
- National Gallery
- St. Paulfs Cathedral
- Tate Gallery – GLOBE
- Tower of London
- Victoria and Albert Gallery
- Westminister Abbey
- Natural History Museum*
- Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Have I missed anything? If I get to the chance to travel outside of London, I plan on visiting:
- Windsor Castle
- Winchester Cathedral
- Canterbury Cathedral
- Oxford and Cambridge Universities
- Stradford-Upon-Avon
- Stonehenge

Obviously I won't be able to check all these places out, since this is a family visit and not a touristy trip. Visiting with the family has to fit in someplace. Beaten

I've seen a fair number of the places on your hit list, but not all during the course of one trip. On that list you have enough to keep you busy for two trips, perhaps!

As far as museums are concerned I would definitely hit the British and the Tate...I went to the Natural History Museum back in '08...it was whatevers in comparison. I'd put that on a lower rung of priority. Go to the Victoria and Albert Design Musuem instead.

Like 'racer said have a great trip. Smile
