Yup, thread revived again, we'll make sure not as long bewteen updates. Just watched all 50 episodes of Dekaranger, will do a good update of it later, also just watched this afternoon Masters of Thunder from 2006, her character is also named Ayumi. Bit lame but bearable, besides her also starred Sonny Chiba and Yuria Haga of Shibuya 15 fame. _________________

Good to see this is becoming, er, uh, popular(?). She looks quite good in her Idol pics though I prefer her newer looks, here's some of them from a 2007 film she was in, Peeping Tom / Makiguri no ana. Hidetoshi Nishijima played a writer who was a failure, but trys to write a sleazy novel for a sleazy weekly tabloid, his editor was played by Ayumi. Very strange movie, the reason it's called Peeping Tom is for a reason. Only seen it un-subbed, been on the hunt for it subbed with no good results. Some screeners from it, Ayumi looks quite good with her shorter hair. _________________

Nu-meri: Book of the New Spawn, also known as Cursed Songs. 2008 low budget horror flick starring Ayumi, she also starred in the next one Gun-Kyu: WarPigeon. First one she plays Mari who goes for an internship at a research fishery, let's just say the fish are not exactly friendly, especially the piranhas! _________________

Just started watching Uramiya Honpo, she wasn't listed as the lead here but Ayumi actually is the lead, first season ran back in 2006 and there was a 2nd season in 2009. Watching it unsubbed, will watch a few more episodes before I'll give a review on it, looks quite good so far, also stars Susumu Terajima and Ayumi looks better than ever in this if possible. _________________

Episode 2 of Urayima Honpo is in the books, easier to follow though still with no subs. AK as Uramiya does seek justice for those who can't get it anywhere else, though the monetary fee is just a tad high. _________________

Promised to start posting some Jasmine/Deka pics for the other person who may read this thread. Jasmine's story was a tough one, she is an ESPer but did not know how to control her powers or what they meant. Constantly picked on in life, she was on the verge of suicide when the SPD commmander Doggie Kruger discovered her special talent and recruited her for his new team of Dekarangers...and as the saying goes, the rest is history. _________________

Latest film AK starred in was from April of this year, it's called Nachuraru ûman 2010/Natural Woman 2010, a remake of the 1994 film. Haven't found it available anywhere yet, at the top of my list. Few pics with her co-stars, they each have a segment.
