It's a good thing. As was beginning to feel pain in my index finger from the excessive scrolling. Beaten

Someone just PMed me about putting restrictions on posted images as well... Maybe only allow thumbnails that link to full size images.

I wonder if the phpBB software can do the thumbnailing. Head Scratch

The correct term is fascist. Twisted

I think we should be okay: the pic barrages are localized to the artistes threads and shouldn't be an issue outside of that forum. Smile

At least that's my take.

well national socialism (nazism) is a type of fascism....i went for the dramatic effect....you know like our own gov't using trumped up scare tactics to sway ppl's political views. Sweat

i respect the rules but let's not make things cumbersome in that it makes it annoying in order to conform...

i'm not saying it doesn't exist, but most forums that i frequent don't require images to be thumbnailed. that's a bit much. file size restrictions i understand but....

That's what I figured... I think fascist has nearly the same impact.

I don't know if this has been discussed yet, because I haven't shifted through the zillions of posts, but what about Avatar sizes? I mean, whats the point of limiting the length of signatures when some ava's are so crazy long they distort the proportions of the posts?

I'll submit to a sound spanking if this was discussed already... Sweat

Okay, back on topic:

Genma did limit the avatar width to 150 pixels, but did not impart a vertical size limit for whatever reason... It doesn't appear to have gotten out of hand like the signatures and/or all those humongous (file size) animated gifs.

No, no, no - I like to see Aya picture floods hehe. Let's not get too restrictive, the signature size limit is enough for now. Besides as you say images are concentrated only in artistes threads.

I think 3-4 pics per post is ok....

I too love the Aya pic floods, but if the size is too big and there's like 8 of them, even I get lagged Beaten
