This is the humorous yet touching suspense story of a self-centered man (Tsuyoshi Muro) in the middle of a mysterious kidnapping case.
A director at a production company, Takasugi, quits his job because of his boss's bad attitude and also finds himself in 100 thousand dollars worth of debt. After talking to his assistant, Sonobe (Ikusaburo Yamazaki), about the situation, they come up with a plan to kidnap the dog of a wealthy family. Then somehow a mysterious girl, Natsuko (Mei Kurokawa) and the young son of the wealthy family appear at Takasugi's house. He is puzzled by the situation but soon finds out that a man called "John Lennon" has made Takasugi out to be the kidnapper. |
