| Along a shopping street, there is a retro-looking cafe, "Coffee-ya". Soda Kosuke is the owner of the cafe, and the coffee that he brews lovingly warms the heart of the drinker. However, Kosuke is an ex-convict and has a painful emotional past. One day, Kashiwagi Fuyuko discovers this quaint little cafe, and she starts dropping by daily for a cup of coffee. I must say this is a wonderful drama, absolutely a great one.. I was looking for something light and relaxing to watch till I found this drama. The drama welcome us with a lovely coffee shop situated in a shopping alley of retro feeling. Its about the coffee shop owner who had a dark past, trying to find a new light in his life. He met his customers, who also runs business at the shopping alley. Each one of them are so very unique and quirky, together they share their life story and problem. Never did the coffee shop owner know that he will meet the wife of the man he murdered long time ago. From there, the drama continuously showcasting viewers the beauty of forgiveness and empathy. I cried each and every epiodes, I am totally absorbed into the plot..although life is hard, with a little bit of help and support from other kind hearted people will make us going.
