Privacy

Browsing. You can read the whole site without an account. We don't use advertising or third-party trackers, and pages load no third-party scripts or fonts.

Cookies. We only set a session cookie when you use a form (for security) or are logged in. It is not used for tracking.

Accounts. When registration opens, we will store your username, email address and a securely hashed password, and use your email only for account messages such as verification and password resets. Emails are sent through our email provider (Mailgun).

Old forum accounts. When the site was rebuilt we kept old usernames so earlier posts stay credited, but did not keep old email addresses, passwords or IP addresses.

Server logs. Our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and page requested) to keep the site secure and working.
