| Shintani Yosuke (Mizobata Junpei) is a salesman for housing equipment. After graduating from high school, he left his hometown. There are two reasons for this. He wanted to leave behind memories of his older brother who died in an accident 18 years old and of an abominable teacher who cast a shadow over his life in his youth. However, due to a personnel transfer, Yosuke returns to the very hometown he had fled as if he were running away from his past several months earlier. He happens to meet Takenaka Misato (Takimoto Miori), an ex-classmate whom he admired, again and is invited to a high school reunion. He reluctantly attends the event and has a lively conversation with childhood friends Minagawa Kiichi (Sano Gaku), Omi Kazuyasu (Kimura Ryo) and Kataoka Yamato (Hirose Tomoki). The four of them relive their younger days and plan to get their revenge on their former disciplinary teacher Kashimura Sadashige (Watanabe Hiroyuki) who controlled students with brute force. They kidnap and punish Kashimura, and then disperse. They intended it as a prank. But the next day, that teacher is found death at some other place. Did one of the four of them return to the crime scene and kill him? Everyone denies this but they are filled with doubts and fears. This case will cause their beliefs to crumble. |
