| Ayu (Anzai Karen) is a high school student who has lived with her mother and grandmother ever since her father disappeared when she was a child. She did modelling in Fukuoka. But went up to Tokyo with her grandmother with the firm resolution to become an actress. She attends high school while working as an extra. But her encounter with Masa (Miura Shohei), the executive director of record company A Victory, sets her destiny in motion. At his behest, she goes to New York to take lessons in preparation for her debut as a singer. After she returns to Japan, she is subject to vicious harassment by rivals at the record label. Even so, she believes in Masa's words. Her trust in him somehow changes to romantic feelings while she works hard on her lessons. |
