Yukimura Kyoko’s (Suzuki Kyoka) husband died of illness and she lives alone in a town next to Karuizawa. She is the caretaker of a museum to the writer Harashima Fujio but there are few visitors and she spends her days peacefully. One day, Kyoko develops symptoms of a panic attack while shopping and is encouraged by her friend Yasuyo to consult a psychiatrist at Hanaore Clinic. The doctor who examines her is Takahashi Tomoyuki (Kusakari Masao). He is a doctor in public practice at a hospital in Yokohama, but he does consultations at Hanaore Clinic’s psychiatry department in the later half of the week. Takahashi says he was Marilyn Monroe’s exclusive psychiatrist. As Kyoko talks to him, she feels comforted. The two of them are drawn to each other and Kyoko eventually invites Takahashi to her house. She feels blissful in her relationship with him. However, Kyoko has no way of knowing that there is an emotionally unstable woman waiting for Takahashi who has returned to Yokohama. Then one day, a surprising thing happens to Kyoko and Takahashi. What will happen to their romance? |
