I love Sorimachi and I love Tsuruta. And Ifll never, for the life of me, understand why they chose to do this ridiculous drama. Itfs so ridiculous Ifm not sure what else to say about it in this review.
Except, the ending theme is great. Everything else is garbage. Literally (ref: last scene).

If you want a good drama, go watch Cheap Love right now!... Although sometimes the plot gets too serious, the drama is really good, every episode is exciting and makes you want to watch more.. not to mention the most important: the cast is fantastic and their characters are really captivating!.. I can ensure you- if you watch this high-quality dorama it'll definitely become a memorable one!! Don't miss it!~

This show is neither too romantic nor too action packed. Kinda leads you wondering. Watched it because of Sorimachi. Slightly entertaining.

I'm surprised to see all the not so good reviews for this. It was actually my first drama ever, and still my favorite. Reaaally really good, and the sad ending was perfect, for me. It was cruel, but I loved it.

It was a great drama, but i think the last episode when the hero dies really ruined it for me

Sorimachi's acting is quite good in this dark drama. The storyline is a bit unconventional, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't be watching it. Although the artist in the female lead is not an intriguing character, Sorimachi's heroism makes up for it. Also, I think I should applaud Sawamura Ikki's acting, since in this movie, he plays a very shady character, yet in Gokusen he plays a bright, and totally unrecognizably charming character.

this is a great tv show the characters are well thought out the story is good it is one of the best that I have seen It to me it is one of those dramas that I would watch agian !! It has realy good acting and a great cast. It does start to slow down a little bit but still it is very good. There is nothing wrong with this drama. The ending is sad but it was great because I didn't expect it. Great drama that is all I can say there is noting wrong with it at all!

Great dorama, a very amazing love story, alothough the story did get a but crazy in the end. Sad but very touching ending, both lead actors were great in this one. Truly a great dorama!

the theme of the drama had a meaningful point, which is never judge by society's standards. the end kind of ruined what was worked up by the drama. it just seems like all the storyline in the end was useless. but i would say that besides the romantic side of the drama, everything else had potential.

Ugh. This Drama started out great. THe first few episodes really got me hooked. But then the middle episodes totally ruined the series. Complete lack of development in both plot and characters, and by the time it started to pick up again, it had already lost me.
Gah. Big disappointment.

I thought it was great. Though I would have loved a different ending, in hindsight, this ending is in keeping with the style of the story. The show isn't a normal love story so why would it have a normal love story ending? I also liked to see an overall serious Sorimachi that's a bit of a departure from his usual carefree characters like in GTO.....

A very dark story with a sad ending. A very unusual story line. Lack of chemistry between the main characters and I don't enjoy the ending!

I love this drama, just like i adore Majo No Jouken! It's so touching and the ending was rather sad. But i just love it!! Really meaningful. I don't understand why this story didn't get high rating but oh well, i guess i'm lucky enough to find out such a brilliant story. This story ain't dark and boring. For me, this drama is not DRAGGY at all. That's why you guys should watch it too. Very Very Recommended!~
