Okay, it's not Waterboys, but the first appeal of Dandori comes the irrepressible cuteness of the cast, particularly the head. The plot is strictly by the numbers, and it's difficult to point out memorable scenes (much less gags). Certainly, some may find it difficult to forgive its weaknesses - but the girls are really kind of adorable. If you're willing to enjoy it for what it is, Dandori is an engaging-enough teen drama.

A lot of people are comparing it to waterboys, but it's not... really. They are both based on a school sports club and both have cross dresser, but that's it. Waterboys is way better.
Some episodes are so cheesy, it's unbelievable. Not funny like waterboys and not as spectacular as well. Some aren't so bad, so you may watch it till the end.
I'd prefer putting a pineapple up my butt than to watch that again. Yes, a pineapple... Pretty girls doesn't make up for boring story.

Okay, firstly, as an 18 year old male myself, I find Nana Eikura one of the cutest girls I've ever seen. But as a drama, this is pretty lame. Obviously attempting to steal some of the "Waterboysish" spotlight of the past, this cheerleading drama (yes, you heard me right) throws up all sorts of mini-concoctions to make it last 10 or so episodes. But hey, who cares? It's got Nana and Rosa in it and that was good enough for me to watch it and besides, its cleverly directed at its intended audience being the teenage demographic.

Just by having too many cute people here, it gets such a high score, I mean Rosa, Nana and Massu are the cutest! Although this is just another water boys and ganbatte show.. it gets quite boring and predictable. But Im still gonna finish watching this!
