ILs been a while since I saw a jdorama, I think it was Densha Otoko, and I really liked it. In 1 litre of tears I honestly felt incredibly touch by the story behind it. ErikaLs acting is incredible. I was not used to see such talent in this kind of shows.
Of course I cried a lot and the message I get from the show is that you always have to value life.
I absolutely recommend this dorama.

...is how much you will cry watching this drama. I think I cried at least once every episode. But it's really amazing, even if I felt a bit disillusioned about how Japanese treat the disabled.

I've seen this more than once and I cry every time. Even when I tell myself not to, I still have a huge lump in my throat and could almost choke! Sawajiri Erika played Aya so great! I mean it was just so believable and I could even see pain in her eyes. I really believed that she had that disease in real life! I felt like I would give anything just so she could live her life and be with Haruto. And the music was PERFECT throughout the whole series! Ryo is definitely my fave though, besides his sexiness (very sexiness) his acting was so awesome! Definitely 5 stars!!
A sad, touching story

There's really a lot to like about this drama. You really have to appreciate the effort the producers put into this drama. The story, while already sad, is even even more sad because it's based off of a true story. You really have to like Aya, how she keeps a positive attitude and doesn't let her disease affect her. I also liked Haruto's character growth and how he stood by Aya. The music, while depressing, is beautiful. I only had two minor complaints. I wished they showed something on Aya between ages 21 to 25 when she dies. The other is that Jinnai Takanori, who played Aya's father, overacted quite a bit at times. Still, the great story and Aya's character are more than enough to make this a great drama. This drama is a must see.

Sawajiri Erika is the best in this drama. Her performance was awesome, the storyline is synchronized and move from a little bit to bit. it's no rushing yet it bring viewer to experienced themselves on how they coupe on the situation.
This is a life drama. I watch it 3 times already and never missed the point on what the show want to tell us.
For somehow it makes me realized on how lucky to be alive. nevertheless it makes me not regret to be live even how unlucky i am. this is a tear-break drama.. it's about life and people surround us. watch this and you'll review yourself. [11/10]

A great selection of cast. I think every actor fit their character perfectly. I think I sorta ruined the story for mysef. I already knew the storyline befor watching it, so I guess I was anticipating the worst and thus I didn't cry. But it is surely a very sad story. It can be difficult to watch sometimes when you see how bad things can get [ for Aya].

honestley one of the best jdramas i have ever seen and not only did it take up an entire tissue box but helped me relealise why i've wanted to be adoctor all this time.
the acting was very well done - a great cast. the cast of aya, haruto, the father, the doctor and the middle sister were very well played and enjoyable to watch.
the storyline was fantastic and really brought back the girl it was based on back to life.
a superbly-acted, well-written, moving, tear-jerking, heartbreaking, inspirational film that will stay with you long after you finish watching the last episode :D

This is the best drama I have ever seen. It might be the most important thing I have ever watched in my life. Before I watched it I thought whatever this will not be interesting, I was very wrong. I cried so much even from the beginning. If you have not watched this please do. when the students sang the song I was crying so much. Amazing show.

This was the very first drama I ever watched. I just fell in love with it. Because of this drama I was eager to watch more, in hopes of finding another one I like as much as this one.
For me, the acting was well done. I always believed Aya's Character. I cried, but I smiled too, it was so inspiring.
Absolutely worth watching! I watched last year, but I just started watching it again.

Absoultely loved this drama! Sawajiri Erika's acting was fantastic! You really feel the struggles Aya faces, her fears, her hopes, her feelings. The presence of a strong supporting cast truly brings the story to life. Good selection of theme and insert songs as well (K - Only Human and Remioromen - Konayuki) as they both fit the overall mood and message of the drama. You'd be making a BIG mistake if you don't!

In this drama, it reflects how cruel our society is. When Aya is down with the deadly disease, you can see how friends keep away from her. You realised how fortunate to be a healthy person and the ugliness of public perception at those disabled. You can see how her 1st boyfriend shun her despite that he knows that she suffered from the disease. You realised friends are NOT forever to help you, they will feel 'tired' one day and give up on you. You will understand the strength of a family support. That kind of strength that support till the end and never ever give up on you. This is really a DRAMATIC drama, you can't help it but feel sad for Aya. She really motivates people with her strength and quotes. Favourite quote: "While other people struggling for their future, I'm struggling to live."
