Kimi ga jinsei no toki

When an elementary school on the outskirts of Tokyo is scheduled for demolition, a group of alumni are brought together around a time capsule buried fifteen years earlier when they had played together in the school brass band. The event precipitates a deep reflection on the purpose of life and the bonds of community, by focusing on the struggles of a city employee whose father has come to a dramatic turning point while his sister has turned to prostitution.
