Ogiwara Saki, 33, is a woman who does not go with the flow of society but forges her own path. She hates flattering men or being nice to people of the same sex. She has failed the bar exam ten times in a row but persists in her dream of becoming a lawyer while working as a clerk at a law firm.

Kanno Miho portrays both sides of her character with brilliance; Nagasaku Hiromi is charming and endearing as Hasumi; and what a charismatic Aida Kouki Tanihara Sousuke makes! The storyline is sometimes improbable and lacks flow, but I love the idea of a strong woman and forging your own path in life. Everything wraps up a bit too neatly and sweetly in the end but I enjoyed every minute of the ten episodes on offer.
