Synopsis
On the outside, kendo fighter Masamune Asuka is a popular high school student and embodies the "cool" that comes with being such a fighter. Beneath his cool exterior, however, is a boy who loves sweets and shojo manga, and who is also skilled in sewing and cooking.
His secret is safe, until he falls for the transfer student Miyakozuka Ryo. The more he reveals his true nature, the more he falls into the danger of exposing his "softer" side.

Interesting premise but very poor execution

I thought that the idea of a guy who loves girly stuff but has to try to hide it behind a manly facade would make an interesting drama, but Otomen falls flat on its face. The acting is atrocious, the storyline is ridiculous and tries too hard to be funny. Absolutely give this a miss.
