Synopsis

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children eleven years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. Despite their childhood attraction to her, they realize she is a mere shadow of the "princess" they all thought they knew. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure - is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers. It's a bright romantic comedy that both young and old can appreciate.

although i read many reviews on how this dorama was "pointless" and "disturbing" i have to say, i strongly disagree. Being this the 1st japanese dorama i watched, i must say it was very entertaining. I loved it. it was really enjoyable, funny and the romance was cute. I loved the cast, and it didnt hurt that they were hot, though that wasnt the reason i kept watching. :) it had a different story line then the doramas ive been recently watching, but i loved it nonetheless. If i hadnt liked this dorama as much as i did i would not have discovered the world of jdorama. it's all thanks to Stand up! that i am a true and dedicated fan of jdoramas. :) since then i have seen about 23 seasons of jdoramas and hope to see more. this dorama was truly a good watch in my opinion with a lot of hidden messages as well as comedic genius :) i do recommend it 100%

original story for a drama.

despite of the plot, i thought it was sweet more than anything. i don't think there's been a drama that tackled the same subject but it is actually not what you think. it's not perverted or obscene at all. the story was more than about sex and losing virginity, it actually tried to teach you that you should wait. nino was great. but i thought yamapi was the sweetest of the bunch. he was the one who made more sense. he understood the responsibility and what sex means.
