Sakaki Ryo is a young man in the outskirts of Tokyo and has experienced a series of setbacks in life - such as giving up his childhood dreams of playing soccer and being unable to settle into a job. One day, wanting to help out his best friend Eitaro, who works at a club, Ryo heads to Roppongi with him to try to settle a matter that has gotten Eitaro in trouble with his workplace. After the arrogant Renjo issues Ryo a challenge, Ryo enters the world of the nightlife in an effort to compete against Renjo as a host.

TEIOH has a descent plot but not a good one. It kinda frustrated me that Tsukamoto was the only constant character and all the other main characters like Nagasawa Nao's character were gone after the first 5th episode. It's not entirely bad but this drama tends to get rather boring and slow. It also doesn't have the intense drama or humor that most other dramas have.
