Misaki, a sophomore transfer student arrives at Yokosuka High School and decides to join the Brass Band Club having heard of its prestigious past from her father, a former member. However, after her entry, Misaki finds that much has changed and the club is now full of dull and inactive students. Misaki determines to do her best to return the club to its glory days, but she must help many of the students overcome their personal problems. It all seems too daunting for Misaki to take on herself, but when she meets Yuki, a gifted sax player at the local US Army base, she recruits her, and together they gradually bring the club and all of its members to life.

Many of the characters were believable and their situations can be appreciated. It reminds me of my high school. The first episode was really cheesy and i thought i couldn't watch it, but it got more interesting with each episode. But then, the ending wasn't moving, at least for me, but maybe people who are younger are better able to appreciate it.

i'd say i give this drama some rating cuz it's hilarious in certain part and Fujiwara Tatsuya <Shinoda-kun>is good looking there... the only problem is that he doesn't know how to express his feelings towards Eriko Imai <Misaki> the drama was said that a senior of him in the band has like him since he entered the band, but when Misaki turned up in that school, she is jealous of Misaki... for music lovers, you can get the piano notes for the insert song ' Candles in the rain' from me... just email me at [email protected] to get it!!!
