A Japanese man is stabbed to death in a posh London apartment. Right after that, several gangsters are killed while dining at a restaurant in Tokyo. A photograph of the man who was killed in London is left behind at the scene. The detective in charge of investigating this case is Mori Kenzo (Hira Takehiro). However, one night, a gang leader called Fukuhara (Motoki Masahiro) pays Kenzo a visit at his apartment. His words “Far away someone threw a stone into a pond. The arrow has finally got this far,” raises questions. Kenzo is told that his estranged younger brother Yuto (Kubozuka Yosuke), who was supposed to have died one year ago, is the criminal in the London murder case. The dead man is the nephew of a rival gang leader and the knife used was Fukuhara’s. If he does not settle the matter by getting the missing Yuto home, a gang war will break out. Kenzo is dispatched to London by his superiors on a top-secret mission to find the missing Yuto and bring him back to Japan before the British police get to him. As Kenzo searches for Yuto, he gradually gets drawn into London’s underworld. When he finally finds him, he heatedly asks, “Do you know how many people have died? In Tokyo? In London? All because of you?!” |
