Seeking a life of stability, the very average 22-year-old Yoshitsune Emiru (Yoshioka Riho) becomes a civil servant right after graduation. However, she is bewildered to be assigned without warning to the role of a case worker who supports people on welfare. These people have trouble making a living for some reason and receive welfare benefits. As Emiru comes face to face with those who live in poverty, she struggles to set them on their feet with the support of senior case worker Handa Akinobu (Iura Arata), who is her mentor. |
