It is a very good drama with a strong storyline and impressive depiction by the actors. All the young actors handled their characters well. It has an unexpected but typical ending. However, a very nice ending indeed. Don't miss it whether you are a fan of any actor in this drama or not cos you will become one after watching it.

Typical romance drama for teens. Show very young Takuya and Sae. A sort of unexpected twist in ending but rather typical. Suitable if you yearn to feel young again and watch bubble gum dramas. Can be lovely for teenage girls.

When I watched this drama I thought that it would be boring since it's a period drama. But I was utterly wrong. It is brillant not only in the actors' performance but also the wonderful storyline. The intensity of the scene between Oda Nobugana and his in-law is so high in intensity even though there's no dialogue. Takuya is magnificent. For those who claimed that he always play the same characters and show no improvement in acting please watch this drama and wow at how good he was in '98 already.

This is a classic. Regardless of what others had said, it has the best soundtrack in all Japanese dramas. And the setting is wonderful. Every character stands out in this drama and many people have watched it umpteen times. This is the only drama I feel which brings together the best of the actors in Japan. Yamaguchi, Takuya,Yutaka, Ryoko and all. And the wonderful theme song. The great mood created throughout the whole drama due to the fabulous acting as well as the music. Great chemistry between Takuya and Yamaguchi. Don't miss it if u call urself a japanese drama fan.
