i watched the sweden vs oranje game...man, the oranje is killing me.... no goal after 120 min... thank god they break their penalty jinks this time... btw, it was wicked humor of the commentator "ibrahimovic doing a beckham's" when he missed the penalty...
i only saw half of the denmark vs czech game, it was pretty ugly...it was the first 20 min of the second half, they were kicking each other foot instead of the ball
i like the 3rd goal by barros, only few people involved in it... the czech really love long passes... and it was a really bad defence by the denmark...
i'm hoping for an oranje vs czech final... payback time....
Greece sent Czech home at the very last seconds goal of the first injury time!
WOW!!!! I thought the Czech would have eaten the greek alive...they weren't keen to eat the greek salad last night, hehe. Greece faces Portugal in the final! A second and final encounter among them in the competion! A payback time from the Portugese side for the previous defeat by the greek. I'm sure Portugal will attack at all power and Greece will defend and counter attack as always.
I wish both team the best, may the better team win!
Oranje means Orange which refers to the Dutch team as their uniform is orange in color...
ohhh and by the way I would probably stay up for the final match tomorrow morning, quite happy to see both of the team as the finalist... nvr expected both of the to make it so far actually but they did to... Whichever team wins I would still be rather happy as I root for Portugal and underdog teams which both are coincidentally the finalist hehehe dun think I have ever felt like this, rooting for both team, for any of the sports competition before... but anyways I hope it would be an interesting match to watch...

"Oranje" is the surname of the Dutch Royal family? tot i read it from somewhere. is it??
that's why the Dutch team wears orange although there's no orange on their flag...?
Congrats!!! The final match was nothing special, too bad the golden generation didn't reach for the long wanted achievement, a winning trophy from the international competion!
Looks like the greeks are on fire and the Olympics waiting at the next door! Their self confidence incresed up by 50%. The victory will make them hunger for more achievements!
It was great the greek win Euro 04. they show other what team play means... the final was not classic but to see c.ronaldo crying.... i luv that kid, to taste defeat will make him more hungry for success and keep him level headed.....
now it's back to normal... i'm gonna miss waking up at 2.30 am ah, well...2 years to WC 06....

I JUST LOVE FOOTBALL especially JAPANESE FOOTBALL (soccer to some)
sorry if there is a thread liek this, but Football rocks...
i'm high this week coz my favourite footballer Junichi Inamoto, scored against *sigh* my team Fulham, his former club in the 3rd Round of the Carling Cup, West Brom won 3-2 Fulham, i'm dissapointed but weirdly happy because he shot a goal..and must i add, Hide Nakata scored last sunday, and helped his teammate on yesterdays match i think it was against charlton.....

I am not into football any more actually. I played it once when I was younger but then I hurt my leg and could not play no more. But then again, I lost the interest long before I hurt my leg. Now I enjoy playing with my friends some time, shooting some goals and such, friendly games so to say.
However when it comes to watching football it is almost the same there. Not interested- But when it comes to the world series; I am the first on in the stadium or the sofa, cause I love it when countryfs fight for the cold. I am a big fan of the Japanese team I rut for Senegal, Sweden and Macedonia (My home country) too.

Which one is the real football anyway? Is it the one which is the game played in FIFA or is the one which is played in the NFL?
For a majority of the world, the term "football" refers to the sport that is known as soccer in the US. In fact, in Spanish, futbol is soccer and futbol Americano is for the NFL, etc.
