Thanks to everyone who replied ... appreciate it! Unfortunately, I've never used Paint or PhotoShop so I don't really know how to use it. Tried to open a picture there, crop it to size, but didn't work. And, don't have the foggiest idea about linking the picture to here, but, I'll keep looking. Thanks, anyway.

Why don't you sign up at Uploadit! and for a nominal fee, (approx $10.00USD/year) you'll be able to upload pics to that server from your comp. After doing so, then you can get the respective link(s) of your picture from the server and then you can put that link into the "Link to Off-Site Avatar" feature in your profile.
There are also some free servers, but because it's free, you may not be able to view your pics all the time. A good one bmw recommended to me was Photobucket or you can go with what a lot of other members use Domaindlx or even Angelfire.
In any case, I hope you'll be able to get what you're looking for! _________________

Ahochaude,
Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna give PhotoBucket a try. Seems like it might be the answer to my problem.
Lovelessemotion,
Sent you a PM last night but don't know if you got it ... seems the message is still in my Outbox, but I can't seem to send it out from there. Oh, well, I'm thinking PhotoBucket might be the answer. Thanks for your offer to help.

Anytime. I hope it works out for you. I'm waiting to see what kind of avatar pic you're going to use! Anyways, if you need more help on this, post here or give me a PM. I have no life, so I'm pretty much logged on all the time. Let me know how it goes. _________________

Ok, so here's my first try at posting an image. Came out pretty much how I wanted but not quite ...
1) The 2nd picture, I couldn't resize any smaller.
2) Also, neither picture are really avatars, are they? I mean, I see so many people with images and pcitures next to their names, not under the post like it is here.
3) And, I'd still like to know how to get moving images in my sig.
So, overall, what am I doing wrong? If anybody has any more tips, suggestions, they'd be appreciated. Thanks.
Oh, BTW, anybody know who these two are? Found them in CosmoDestop.com. They both looked familiar - actresses, maybe - but can't remember where I've seen them before.

It can be used as an avatar. Just take the first picture for example. Here's the link...
You go to "Profile" and put this link into the "Link to OffSite Avatar". And then "submit" and next time you see your posts, you'll have that same pic as your avatar.

As far as animated sigs go, I have no idea. *dunce cap*
You gotta ask the high tech people about that.
I'm pretty sure that someone who knows how will reply with some good tips and pointers.

Implimenting your pic as an avatar doesn't take long. The only "long" part about it is finding a good picture to express yourself or whatever mood you're in. (or even obsession *guilty* previous avatar, that is )

That one KINDA looks like Kanno Miho. Not too sure about the other one.
