The last drama I've watched is Koi no Chikara. A very nice show! Bleah Both the lead and supporting cast has so much chemistry between them~ I luv Tsutsumi since some time ago and in this show, he is absolutely gorgeous!! Lovey Eyes I really can't stop myself from watching the last disk of Koi!! He is SOO CUTE!

hehe... the best thing is i found the female lead (Fukatsu Eri) to be utterly cute and adorable!! I mus mention Sakaguchi Kenji. Thou a supporting cast, he has proved he can act really well! Basically Koi no Chikara is a good drama and so far all the review I've seen are good! Highly recommended!

I'm now starting to watch Beginner~ will write my review soon (i hope~ Mr Green )

Yeah, Beautiful Life would be a good dorama to start with!

Just started Pride, and its looking good so far. The only complaint I have is the English Subtitles. Why do they change the characters' names to Chinese names!? Its kinda irritating, but hey, as long as I can understand what they're saying, right?

Dr. Koto is her latest. I haven't watched it though but it's a pretty popular dorama. It won awards too. And then she also starred in 2002 dorama, Renai Hensachi. That dorama has 3 stories and she's in Story 3, co-starring Naomi Zaizen & Takashi Kashiwabara. I really like her in this one. Takako Tokiwa is also in this, in Story 2.

The first time I saw her was in "One Million Stars Falling From The Sky ~The Smiles Has Left Your Eyes~". It's a very suspenseful drama with a tragic ending. I <3 it. I also saw her in Battle Royale. She's a singer too and I recommend her song "Trust My Feelings".

funnyface,

Very interested to read that you have watched 'Long Love Letter' I saw that on TV a long time ago and I could not stop watching it. I still don't know what it was all about really. Was it partly sci-fi and partly mystery.? It was weird...you are right there. Wasn't that Kobusuke? I think that is why I kept on watching Big Grin

Precious bamboo,

I just finished 'One Million Stars' Absolutely fabulous drama. I think Kimura gets under the skin of every character he plays..but this time he was especially good. Very dark drama and I realised it was going to have that kind of result. Put off watching the last episode.. and then when I did I was emotionally wrung out. Had to back off and go do something to lift my mood. One of the best dramas I have seen. I have watched Pride wiht the Chinese subs and now in the process of getting it with the English subs. I love this drama. Such a fine cast, Aki is just the right one for Halu. Kimura is just great. Sakaguchi Kenji is rather fetching also.... in fact I think he loosens up when acting with Kimura and does a better job.

Oh well I adore Takuya Kun anyway..anyway at all....

The new dramas have started over again in Japan, so I am watching some new ones called,
"Minami-kun no Koibito" (Minami's Girlfriend) -- adapted from a classic manga it seems, about a high school boy's girlfriend (Fukada Kyoko) who shrinks to miniature size for some odd reason. It's cute in a cheesy way--which is probably why I am watching it.

"BatsuKare" (The Divorced Boyfriend?) -- Starring quite a few familiar faces that I can't put names on, a look at a playboy divorced man and his friends and his completely out-of-control dating obsession with various women--at once. I don't think it will become popular with the younger crowd.

"Kimi ga Omoide ni Naru Mae ni" (Before You Become a Memory) -- a fairly interesting drama about a woman who anticipates seeing her beloved sister after a few years apart, and then suddenly hears of her death in some accident while abroad in Singapore with her husband and son. To the her and the family's disbelief, the husband has absolutely no recollection of anything anymore, he has lost his memory completely. It's really sad to see he has no memories and then everyone blames him for the death, and is angry he can't remember. It's probably going to be a good tear-jerker/love-story.

Still trying get the rest of "Ai nante iranee, Natsu!" Maybe I should find torrents because I gotta know the ending.................
