Me too, let's look for them. Ive also been searching but looks like online chat isn't a big thing in Japan.

u guys should try http://www.japan-guide.com/penfriend/index_e.ph i met a few japanese girls with whom i talk to over msn...its pretty good..just put up an add and u'll get like at least 3-5 emails within the day

Ive met over 25 japanese guys/girls.
You just don't look in the right places.
You should try looking @ actualy japan sites, misc sites.
You will find links to forums~==>then onto people sites==> then onto more forums, chat rooms and links..
i regularly chat in japan rooms... but i forgot all their links atm... X.x
but u will have to be able to read kanji and such.

No i don't live in CA. Although my sister and alot of my friends do. I dunno Matt's Last name, all i know he has a very very very uhhh weird nickname O.o, the matt in ur ava..i think thats him. He sent a pic of him.. and yeah X.x But he said he posted sometimes in this forum. Thats why i met u and/or him .. cuz i dunno whos gonna post next X.x oyyy

I don't think theres alot of Japanese girls here in Stockton..or at least I haven't seen any..only had one Japanese friend..and she was a foreign exchange student from Japan

there are also sites in which japanese ppl look for a native english speacher to talk to...

I tried the penfriend thing on Japan Guide a couple of times but it wasn't really that great. My intent was to meet some interesting people (guy or girl didn't care) and help improve their english. I must have wrote to 20 people but only got a response from two. Out of the two, one was a guy, and one was a girl. I have received two emails from the guy, and about 4 or 5 from the girl. This was about 4 months ago. All the people who are talking about lifelong friendships on that site must have encountered some desperately lonely people.
