hey arnel i think next ur gonna watch 'SWEET LOVE'.. MAN ITS HILARIOUS!!!...its currently airing here... so you should get it soon... i'm guessing someone from cali gives you ur captures no?

no, i rely on the good ppl that posts on d-addicts for my kdrama fix. So, it might take awhile before i can get my hands on sweet love.

I was planning on getting some kmovie via BT instead of edonkey but all the movie torrents in d-addicts have been shipped off to FSS and they require registration. Somehow, mandatory registration to get access to stuff posted by third-parties (other users) just doesnt seem okay to me so that's one site i'll probably never go in to.

i tried 'Thousand years of love' but gave up on the third ep. I was hoping for a little more comedy since the heroine came from the past but they didnt focus much on that...

Thanks to recommendations here, I saw Sweet 18! It's a winner! I thought it'll run out of jokes as the story progresses, but it was funny for 14 straight episodes. Awesome script! Some scenes, the setup, were pretty creative ( a rarity in K-drama I think). For instance, the power outage scene, with dialogue in bubble over pitch dark background... and other scenes.

Opened my eyes to Korean culture too... is it a true portrayal? Having to give up your job and moving back to the hometown and take over? Don't think I can do that...

Does anyone knows if D-addicts version is any different from Totuta's version?

D-addicts' version IS Totuta's version. Same subs. But, to reduce bandwidth on his server, Totuta now hosts the lower quality WMV files only. He used to do the AVI files through BT, but now just hosts the WMV. The high quality AVI files are only available at D-addicts, or I guess emule. hehe

Ah... thank you very much for helping me on that one! I'm re-downloading this one, hardsubbing it and make VCDs out of them, cos I just got a writeable drive (at last!)
Had the first release by Totuta way back then, but deleted them all, can't afford an external hard drive. Guess I'll get them again on D-addicts. Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be seeded long enough Sweat

No offence to you or Kim Rae Won fans,
but Moon Keun Young, the heroin of 'My Little Bride' is too cute for Kim to kiss Angry

[not sure if I could post this in the dorama section since it's a Korean drama...]

For those who remember Long Vacation causing a fad of young guys (dumping their young/same age girlfriend) and pursuing older women, the Korean drama "Winter Sonata" is producing another fad:

Divorce and Japanese women searching for Korean men, here's the article:

A younger husband, still in his 30s, was distraught when his wife returned from Seoul with a serious case of "Yongfluenza." His once happy home life may be over.

"I'll ask her to make love to me, but she'll reject me, saying, 'Look at that protruding belly; that's why Japanese men are no good,'" he whines. "And when I persisted she pulled away violently. We haven't had sex for over a month."

Hahahahaha.

Hahah. Got Yongfluenza?

One of the related articles mentioned at the end of the story looks funny too: "My husband doesn't talk to me as lovingly and beautifully as Bae Yong Joon does." Oh, boo-friggin-hoo, hahah.

I don't think he got the chance to kiss her did he? I forget, and I sent my DVD off to a friend.

The best thing that KRW has done to date is 'Tell me you Love me'

It is totally different from any other drama and is serious and dramatic.

It is an ensemble piece with splendid cast who work beautifully together.

Discussed this at length with 'misha' on another forum and we agreed that

this was like a Greek Tragedy. If you watch.. please stick with the first

two episodes.. and then do not for any reason..fast forward!!! It has

English subs and you need every piece of dialogue. Trust me.

K-dramas are a hit in Hawaii. An article in today's The Honolulu Advertiser:

I need some help finding the title for this particular Korean drama. I don't know the actors names either.
It's about a guy who wants to become an artist [musician~] his character name was something like Hun Sun-woo? [sorry if I get it wrong!! /).(\] And the girl he likes wants to be a baker...her name was something like Young-???

If anyone can tell me the name of this drama, it'd be greatly appreciated! ^ ^ And if anyone has the whole series--let me know! ^ ^

Thanks everyone!
