SHxT!!! just booted and my maxtor 120gb drive is now being recognized as an unformatted 32gb in XP. My bios now also recognizes it as a 32GB as well. Crap!!!!! That's my anime folder. I WILL NEVER BUY MAXTOR AGAIN!!! Gonna check the drive/cables this weekend as a last resort. Hopefully its just loose ribbon cable. If not, , all those animes gone...and no backup since they are still the incomplete series. Good thing my system and dramas are on a different hd.
Has anyone had this problem before? How did u fix it?
@elti: get the ueto aya complete PV in publicmm site. That's where i got mine. You should be able to find what Tekanan was referring to. I probably wont be able to create one for you (my hd fiasco just ruined my day). _________________

Yeah, really. My friends and I started laughing when someone actually let me into their lane without having to cut someone off unintentionally.
Sorry you have to deal with it on a daily basis, bmw-san. It's such a pain.

Wow. One of those rare occurences...
Interestingly, when I was in Hawaii, nearly all of the drivers were amazingly (disgustingly?) courteous... So it was quite easy to pick out the tourists, especially the ones from LA and NY...

No need to be: I take the streets to work... It only takes me about 10-15 minutes...

spend some time last night searching for a fix to my hd problem but to no avail.
Not a cable problem?
Have you tried downloading any diagnostics from the Maxtor site? The only other software I can think of is Spin-Rite which might help, but it's not freeware...

Ouch that totally sucks with the HD thing. I own a maxtor 250gb HD myself, I hope that thing doesn't die on me. Anyways, good luck with it arnel. I hope everything turns out fine.

it's raining??! aww man, and I leave for hawaii tomorrow too
Ahhh, yeah, man, ame furu furu and all that. The impression I got from last night's news's that the torrentials (which is the ame is right now, 9am, 08/04/04, Hawai'i time) should taper off from Friday, so, you're kinda' coming to the aina at a decent time. It's really nice weather following rains like the kind Hawai'i's experiencing at this moment.
