I finished readin last few vols of scanned Gunsmith Cats, it was quite a pain in the arse havin read the content from the display Well, I didn't have the money to pay for the books, too pricey and the manga graphic novels are so popular in the library, always taken
Dropped Ghost in the Shell 2: Man Machine Interface out, too zzz! The story is always super complicated. Women are so nicely drawn, as expected from Shirow. This dude got a fetish for women's crotches, every second page we see is the crotch, too much is too much
I think I'll start readin Video Girl Ai next, scanned of cource
a 600 mb burden to my computer, gotta finish and delete the goods. Video Girl Ai = Ringu

I used to read Manga a long time ago. I have the whole collection of the Dragon Ball manga series. (That was my favorite, back in the days).
I also used to read Ranma, Yuyuhakusho, and Slam Dunk.
I guess I lost interest in them because I haven't picked up one in 5 years.
But I see a lot of Japanese (from Japan. Not 2nd generation Japanese) college students (who come to study) in Hawaii reading them. So perhaps I'm missing out on something here?!
Anyone care to enlighten me? Or perhaps give me some suggestions on popular/good ones? _________________

Read Hikaru no Go. When I think of ahouchaude, I think of GTO. Go read the manga, much better than the anime and TV series...
Though if you liked Dragon Ball, you might like Naruto...pretty much in the same vein... |
Cooll!
Thanks for the recomendations!

Ranma 1/2 is still pretty popular. At least with the people I know. They're re-releasing the manga again. You can't go wrong with Ranma's craziness.
Shampoo's my favorite character because out of all the Chinese characters (the others being Cologne and Mousse), she's the only one who speaks in broken Japanese.
As for others, I think you'd like GTO. Great storyline coupled with unforgettable sukebeness on Onizuka's part.
