LOL, you can say that again! But, once in a while you can find an ok place in Roppongi...if you are w/ friends who know the owner of a decent place that isn't near the "front"
Yeah, I ended up in a Brazillan samba bar near Roppongi Hills once. That was OK, except I couldn't samba dance Oh, Yellow is in Roppongi I think - that's a cool place.

I don't recommend Gas Panic. But a lot of gaijin seem to have fun there I'm foreign and I didn't like it though, but I'm picky Their policy is: If you aren't dancing or you aren't drinking...ya gotta go. You can't just hang out there or be far between drinks
EVERYONE MUST BE DRINKING TO REMAIN INSIDE GAS PANIC

Thanx !
I'd like to go to Tokyo next Spring but :
1) I don't want to go there alone as it can be dangerous !?!?
2) If only a few Japanese people can speak English, I first have to learn the language !?!?
But hopefully, I'll go there soon ! fingers crossed !

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Yellow is in that area. I never went there, but I had friends who loved it there. But I'm not a club person, I'm more of a chill-at-a-bar type

Tokyo is a really safe city, even at night. I felt much more safe there than I would wandering around London or Paris. A few places I wouldn't like to go alone at night, especially if I was a girl, like Roppongi or the seedy parts of Shinjuku as you might get guys hassling you. Otherwise, it's a very safe place to visit.
Learning a few lines of Japanese is very helpful in shops and people appreciate the effort. I always like to be polite, English gentlemen and all that, so even when I went the first time I made sure I knew my arigatous and onegais
Almost all of the important signs are bilingual, such as in train stations, the subway and tourist spots. Staff at major attractions like the Tokyo Tower tend to know more English than most.
Oh, and spring is a great time of year to go. Sunny and warm without being hot and sticky and, of course, it's sakura season
Try to be there for the beginning of April to see the best of it.

Hehe, me too usually. Yellow is good though because it has two separate bars away from the dance areas, so you bounce around on the dancefloor or kick it back n' chill

..omg..Grope the women....
True story.
During peak rush hour. In the trains. Japanese are known to literally squeeze themselves in the train packing themselves like sardines with one another. Those sukebe ossans figure it's the opportune time to grope women, thinking that the woman won't know who did it. I mean, it's literally that bad. NO room to move or breathe in the train, and all those sukebe ossans in there. _________________

I know that is a true story. One of my friends who spent sometiime in Tokyo almost got hit on by those sukebe ossans..(sukebe sarariman.. ). So when she went on board the train she placed her bag behind her butt and carried umbrella everywhere, to hit them hard and cried "SEKUHARA!!"

I'm not sure which is worse. To be groped by perverts or elbowed by old ladies. The elbow-ings are enough to give you internal injuries.
Gotta give those babas slaps when they elbow you. You should've seen my great grandma. She was from Hiroshima but for a 98 year old lady, she sure pushed and shoved her way around. And half the time, there wasn't enough people around to call it "crowded". _________________

For a country that prides itself on being so courteous, the Japanese sure are rude when commuting.
Right on the dot.

Your family? I know about the person who commits suicide by train, his/her family will have to pay for the clean up. Sugoi expensive. Nan zen man. _________________
