I added a vote for Japanese Dramas too, looks like Korean Drama's have a huge lead though. Thumbsup

Korean is kicking our butts!!

BTW...the programming issue mentioned above regarding their website is ALSO a big issue with regards to the TV program databases (for KSCI and KXLA the other So. Cal channel showing Japanese Doramas) used by many cable and satellite operators to feed their guides (and for Tivo to record shows). Usually the morning shows don't get updated to the new show for several weeks after the end of a program, and thus the start of a new one (meaning that you need to really record using a manual setup rather than choosing the name of the show). And the evening shows (at least for KXLA - Asahi Homecast) just show "Asahi TV" as the show - rather than the show itself.

Now that I think about it, I can't understand why they don't try to sub everything... You'd think they'd wanna expand their customer base and they can't do that without English subs...

I guess I'll never figure out what they're thinking... Shake Head

since the poll is only for KSCI-TV, the only 2 J-dramas on the station that aren't subbed total 2, which happens to be the FujiTV dramas--every other J-drama aired on the station has subs.

K-drama-wise, KSCI-TV only airs 3 K-dramas, all from MBC, and 1 of the 3 is subbed.

As for Chinese drama, none of 2 that airs are subbed, ever.

Hey hey, thanks for showing up and giving us some details, Creidesca... Applaud Big Grin

Any reason why the FujiTV dramas aren't subbed?

Fuji won't allow their shows to be subbed. There's a long discussion on this board somewhere regarding this. Basically...they forbid it for some sort of legal copyright reason (so they claim).

Voted for J-drama, one thing I've noticed about KSCI's Korean dramas, sometimes they're subbed, and sometimes they're not, the same drama, one night it will have subs, the next night it wont!!! Must be very aggravating if you dont speak Korean
