Just once, I'd LOVE to see a baseball player do an impression from that Saturday Night Live baseball interview skit:

"Baseball been very very good to me..." rofl

Or if a player would do a joke impression of the prepared interview that Crash taught Nuke to say in Bull Duhram:

"I'm just glad to be here. We gotta play it one day at a time..." hehe rofl

Awww....I was hoping for Astros vs. Red Sox. It would be nice to see Clemens against his former team.

I REALLY don't like Clemens, but I respect his accomplishments nonetheless.

His work ethic and love of the game is also laudable... how many pro athletes have anywhere near the same?

I am so glad Clemens got the loss. The Yankees lost, Clemens lost this is turning out to be an o.k. Baseball Playoff season. Applaud Now if only the Cards can win it all I will be satisfied.

I like the Cards since they're coached by Tony La Russa, Dave Duncan, and other former Oakland A's coaches. But I still want to see The Curse finally broken.

I like the story of the curse. I think it would be a shmae to loose it. Plus I don't like teams that buy their way to the World Series by picking up expensive free agents. I tend to cheer on the smaller market teams. Plus I would love to see Tony LaRusa and Dave Duncan win it all.

Isn't there a curse in Chicago-land with the Cubs? The curse of the goat? Link

Yup, the Billy Goat curse they generally call that one.

But THE CURSE is the Curse of Babe Ruth, belonging to the Red Sox.

Red Sox draw first blood, 11-9. The winning home run by Mark Bellhorn was a duplicate of the two-run jack he hit in game 7 against the Yankees: a shot down the right field line, resulting in a thundering crash as the ball hit the foul pole fence... Whoa.

Now it's on to St. Louis. Big Grin

Well, now that the Yankees are out, most of the reporters have gone home, since they were largely following the exploits of Godzilla (Hideki Matsui).

At least they can report back to Japan that it wasn't Godzilla's fault:

Divisional Series Hitting Stats:
