looks ilke since the C-dramas aren't wining in the voting, KSCI has extended the C-drama programming timeslot =P now there's gonna b a total of 3 c-dramas airing weekdays. This will happen starting Sept 27th, and the 3rd drama (the new one) will be an ancient/costume/kung-fu fantasy drama airing at the 1pm-2pm timeslot...1 of the actresses in the series is Zheng Pei Pei (for those who've seen the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you'll know who she is).

When you can get j-drama so easy on the net, why then have it on tv too? Wouldn't it be funnier to have a korean drama? Well, I'm not american so i don't have much to say about that. But if we got the same question I would vote for korean ^^ Even though I'm a big fan of Japan.. Then it sure is quite easy to get k-drama too, but its harder to find subs. I think

I would guess MOST of the subtitled stuff you find online is here BECAUSE someone captured it from TV. If it doesn't air on TV subbed, then we won't have as much subbed stuff online.

Well I just voted for Jdramas to be subbed in English. It gets very frustrating when the plot lines are intricate. I am trying to understand the 'Proof of a Man' which appears once a week on weekends here. I realise that there is a murder of someone's father (I think) I also suspect that Yutaka is the child from that dead man. Now he is in redneck southern state trying to solve a case which I suppose will involve him more than he realises. How did the Japanese woman reporter turn up also? I mean apart from the fact that she likes Yutaka. Please tell me Geezer..(?) is the actress who plays his mother(?) also the one who played Kimura's mother in 'Pride'? She is elegant to look at and not a bad actress. Did you also recognise the US actor who plays the Police Chief and gives order to the US Sheriff...He used to play in lots of US TV. Can't find h is name in credits.
I wish Yutaka would shave........ I am losing ground here with this drama.

Yeah, its very frustrating! I complain about j dramas not being subbed all the time; so much that My friends at school get sick of me talking about it.

Just went through this thread. I don't know why I thought we had a posting from 'geezer' on this thread talking about 'Proof of the Man'. I guess I will not have any comeback from him re my post!!!. Forgive me folk..I had an imaginary moment there for awhile.
Just wish there were English subs on this drama. Watched it again tonight and I am getting so confused. Oh well...

Geezer posted something regarding this show on the N. Cal station's thread (KTSF).
well, it looks like KSCI is airing its first ever eng subbed chinese drama =)
which will start this Nov 8 at 7pm M-F
I wonder if the email I had sent to the programming manager was convincing enough?
Call me a TV news girl stalker... Any of you Californians have any more information on Juliette? I mean REALLY USEFUL information like her marital status, how short she is, etc. We receive her show, Tea Time, in Hawaii at 7:30am, just when I wake up. Let's just say I come to work every morning happy! Everyday she wears really nice outfits. What set me off today was when she was wearing a translucent black top with a black bra underneath... bmwracer knows that fetish of mine by now. I don't understand a single bit of Mandarin, but just watching her for 30 minutes everyday is enough for me.... or is it enough?????

I may be mistaken, but KSCI 18 in L.A. aired a new drama that started in Sun. May 1st. Unfortunately I missed it. Can anyone help me with the name of this drama? Thank You.
credeisca got tired of Geocities pop-ups and moved her schedule page to Fateback. You can now see her local California stations schedule along with a bunch of other scheduling info at the California board's TV Schedules thread.
JDorama.com has a thread for Sekai no Chuushin de Ai o Sakebu. Lots of great pictures there but beware: the thread contains many spoilers.
The California board also has a thread for discussing E̒SŁA (Crying Out, in the Center of the World). If you would like to follow along with other Southern California viewers without fear of spoilers from people who've already seen future episodes, that would be a safer option in this case. The thread also has links to info on the series at other sites which include summaries of the first episode. _________________
