hiya!! i while back i was living in japan, and while there i saw this show that i only watched a couple of times, but that i really enjoyed. since i didn't speak a lot of japanese at the time, i can only give you a limited synopsis (no, i don't remember the name, but wouldn't it help if it did), but maybe someone here has heard of it and can tell me what it was.
it was about this office lady who was treated very badly by all her coworkers...the girls she worked with hated and bullied her, and even though she had a crush on her boss he too treated her badly. one day the girls invite her down ot hte locker room intending to play a prank on her, but after they leave, she opens one of hte lockers and discovers this tiny, bossy woman living inside the locker. the locker was all done up just like a house, etc. well, this woman could step out of the locker, and then become large like a person, and with her help she starts changing the ol's life around, and making everything go well.
does anyone have any idea what show this is? it aired sometime in the winter or spring? of 2003 (it could have started sometime in late 2002 though)

hi hitotoisu.. my guess is that it's a NHK drama called [Locker no Hanako san], but it seems you already know it since you;ve set up a thread on it..? i could be wrong, but when i saw the [woman living in a locker thing] i thought of the drama immediately..

yep..that's it...right after i made the post i found out what the name was, but by then i coudln't delete the post. i pmed a mod to tell them that they could delete it if they wanted to, but maybe they just decided to leave it?
at any rate, for those who haven't seen it it was pretty amusing.

Watching a dorama on KSCI in LA on Sunday at 9 pm about a girl name Kaoru that has a medical illness where she can't stop bleeding and needs a bone marrow transplant.

she is taken to the hopital and is told that she will need a bone marrow transplant or will die. well near the end of the episode she TRIEs to kill her self but ends up not and was taken to isolation for a short time.

What is this dorama called??

Anybody heard of this jdrama?? about ninja etc....it was very long time ago i watchEd in thE 80s...im reaLLy miss the show but i cant remember wats the name of the seriEs....it wouLd be kewL if someone can help me out findin' it....

Are you talking about Shadow Warriors (Kage no Gundan) with Chiba Shinichi (Sonny Chiba)?

ok i have googLed about 'Shadow Warriors (Kage no Gundan)' ....nopE
and i remember one of the characters name is Sasuka, and if im not mistaken he can run very fast....

I'm trying to find the title of a drama that spanned only for 6 episodes.. it's a love story about a girl who could not speak... if I remembered correctly, kanno miho was the main actress, but I can't find the drama under her list here, so I'm not too sure...

When I was living in Japan a couple of years ago, I remember watching a drama, but I don't think I even knew the name of it back then. I already checked the list on this site, but couldn't find it. I'm sure it was on during the early part of 2002 since it ended in March when my sisters came to visit me.

Plot summary: A man and his wife ran a ramen shop, and they had five children - the oldest boy in junior high, a girl in 6th grade, twins in elementary, and a baby about 1 year. The wife died, but she was still around as a ghost and only the man could see her. A young woman pretended that the man was the father of the baby she was carrying and convinced him to marry her, but none of the kids liked her. The boy found out from the video rental guy that she had been in adult films, but didn't tell his father. As for sub characters, another guy who worked at the ramen shop is a famous comedian who's name escapes me, he's a heavy guy who has done a lot of commercials. And there was a female police officer who was dating the video clerk. Every single person's name is escaping me right now. The ending credits were set to a disco song and had a bunch of random town people dancing (the credits were great!). Can anyone help me remember what it was and who was in it?

some sinopsis about the story
The story revolved around the one character name Sasuka an orphan kid and his gang. he was raised by Master Sin, and he target to get rid of BAN CHAN one of the brains Evil Tokugawa group leader. At the last episode they fought and Sasuka technically win but he is dead becoz of this crook did a dirty trick.

Sasuka skill is invented many gadget item such as flying parachute, flying fan powered by bicycle..submarine..etc..

One of the member of his gang name is Yin.. her skill using her hair to attack the enemy.

Other is one big size guy name is Jige and Jingga. the rest im forgot their name.

2. The name of a Japanese mini-series about a young woman named Azuma who opens a fashion shop and has two boarders at the house she rents. One is a shy young man who designs a computer game and whose family owns a large Kimono Store/Company. The grandmother runs the company and is trying to get her grandson to take charge of the company.
