I enjoyed Antique. The subs were very strange but I got over it after the first couple episodes. It's an odd story but has some very humorous parts to it, and the cakes look delicious! It's funny a lot of people will watch a drama without English subs but hate a drama that has bad English subs. Seems like they could ignore them??? Anyway I need subs to understand a drama well and I still enjoyed it.

I actually got the VCD set coz Shiina Kippei was in it. In love Still watching the 3rd disc though, but it was rather funny! ^^ I think Kippei was so "kawaii" and funny (and rather pitiful at times, ya?), Hideaki was so "yummy" and Naohito was kind of sexy but how come he's like a wallpaper? Even those cameos appeared more times than he did. Grumble

The english subtitles was really ridiculous and made-no-sense. I think it was a direct translation from the chinese subtitles. Luckily mine came with both Eng and Chi subs so I was able to depend on the Chinese subtitles to understand the story. Sweat Wondering if the original DVD comes with decent english subtitles?

Hehe, well, I'm gonna review the drama once I finished watching it. So, blah blah Anyway....

Cool!

Lol yeah, I would agree he appears quite a lot of times, but most of the times, it's like, just a fleeting scene. I would greatly love it if they'd show him more AND longer though, coz I think he was rather sexy in the show. w00t!

Btw, he's a master chef whom Hideaki's character is learning to bake cakes from. Mr Green

LOL, I dunno. It's just a feeling I get when I watched the show. hehe I think his weird glance at Kippei and his shyness when he saw women were rather cute and sexy. *lol* But I guess you'd need to see for yourself though, afterall, tastes differ. hehe

Lol no lah, it depends on you. ^^ Coz I am not into romance dramas but comedies & mysteries, so that's why I really like this show (+ got kippei also mah, lol). Maybe you'll find it boring, who knows. ^^ I got my VCD set from the auctions. So maybe you can try finding the auctions for it.

Haha, ya lo! That's really funny. I really like the part where he keeps glancing at Kippei and Kippei was like ... really helpless like that. *lol* Also the part where he was looking at Abe and Kippei was looking at them outside and then, he was thinking, "why does my heart beats so fast?" or something to that effect. Eh, that's why I said Kippei's so pitiful in the show! LoL!

No prob. ^^ I think there're still sellers selling the VCDs but not too sure. Have to look it up. Or you can go to http://auctions.yahoo.com.sg and look for "ANTIQUE VCD" I think you should be able to find a few. ^^
