Hi everybody. This is a great site! Ifve learned so much already just browsing through some of the fascinating threads. I love J-Pop and Enka, historic J-Drama, and of course, Japanese cooking. My daughter is really into Sailor Moon and now shefs into HiHi Puffy Ami Yumi, so I guess Amime and cartoons are on my list too.

hey Kermit, welcome to jdorama. if you're willing to learn about bittorrent, you could download all kinds of anime for your daughter. google about bittorrent, and then go to this site: www.animesuki.com
don't worry, as far as i know, because the anime there are not licensed and fansubbed, they are pretty safe to dl.

Hi, new member here ...Well, I signed up a while ago, but I didn't have much time to post.
I've been interested in Japanese dorama for a while now. I'm a Japanese history major, and I'm struggling to find time to learn Japanese. I put in an application for the JET program, so hopefully I'll actually be able to get some experience in Japan.
I'd have to say my favorite actress right now is Ueto Aya, and I see there's a substantial thread devoted to her. I also like J-music...anything from Puffy to Limited Express.
Hopefully I can contribute something to the JDorama forums soon. _________________
