The script is written by the same person who wrote "Good Luck" and "Gift". The main theme for this drama will be "Love and Dreams.." It seems that the storyline's about a racer who came back to Japan due to some disputes while racing overseas. He then meets a group of children and these children kinda changed his life.

Spring Drama (starting April 2005)
Title : "Magari Kado no Kanojo"
Fuji TV
Starring :
Izumi Inamori
Yumiko Shaku
Story (Taken from : http://www.japan-zone.com) :
Izumi to Play a Loser Dog
Among the dramas in the spring lineup is Fuji TV's provisionally titled "Magari Kado no Kanojo." The theme is one that is very popular at the moment, that of the "loser dog." In Japanese "make-inu" refers to a woman in her 30s who is unmarried and without children, which marks her out as a failure in Japanese society. You get the impression that the media is trying to shame women into getting married and having kids, thereby solving the problem of a rapidly aging society. Make-inu poster girl, actress Sugita Kaoru, recently married a wealthy businessman and can't stop telling the world how happy she is. In Fuji's new drama, Inamori Izumi (32) is a beautiful and successful career woman, but her age is a big hurdle in her rivalry with the also beautiful Shaku Yumiko, who is still in her 20s. The drama is based on a bestselling book that lists 10 ways not to become a make-inu, with one episode focusing on each. _________________

TV Asahi
Title (not fixed yet): "Attack No.1"

I think TV Asahi is trying to gain the same success like the one that Ace! did.
This upcoming dorama stars Aya Ueto (from the Ace! fame) and based on popular comic about volleyball. (Ace! was also coming from popular sport theme comic, right?!)
whohaaa no way, they are making a Mila Superstar live action? thank you TV Asahi thank you
Mila was my first anime ever, because of this I went into volleyball team .. jupiii
Yada Akiko will star as lead actress in TBS "Yume de Aimashou" (I will meet the dream), a romantic comedy about a married couple who has its problems (father doesn't agree with marriage) but continue to have a happy marriage.

Wahhh...Romantic Comedy~my favourite! I am really looking forward to this show! Oshio Manabu and Yada Akiko will definitely be an eye-catching onscreen couple!
Ryoko will take on the role as guide in Fuji TV's first historical mystery programme to unravel the truth behind DaVinci's greatest mystery, based on Dan Brown's best seller "The DaVinci Code".
On location in France, she will follow the lore surrounding DaVinci's two masterpieces and visit Rennes-le-Chateau.
Tune in to find out the truth behind Davinci's paintings.
Iijima will play an unmarried woman who opens a florist in Tokyo. Her
character lives with her mother but is seeing a man hated by her
mother, who blames him for driving her husband to suicide. The male lead, played by heartthrob Tatusya Fujita, competes for the heart of Iijima's character with Hiroshi Kato.
Kato plays the president of a major florist company who sweeps Iijima's
character off her feet and the series apparently revolves around the
love triangle and its maze of forbidden romances and flings.

One of the male lead is Tatsuya Fujiwara from Shinsengumi?
Hhhhmmmm, how come if I try to imagine a love story between Naoko Iijima & Tatsuya Fujiwara, suddenly I imagine a similar type of romance story setting such as :
Nanako Matsushima & Hideaki Takizawa (Majo No Jouken)
or
Izumi Inamori & Toshiki Kashu (Toshishita No Otoko) _________________

Hmm, that sounds pretty interesting, but it doesn't sound like it's a drama, unfortunately....
