I was surprised when Takuya-kun made the announcement at the 2000 SMAP Live concert. I wished Victor Entertainment had recorded it onto the VHS. His announcement was not shown on video. But it was emotional and the fans had joined in singing Lion Heart. I heard fans were supportive and some were reluctant. As for yours truly, I thought he was going to remain a bachelor for his entire life OR that he was going to get married really late in life (like in his forties or fifties, even perhaps in his sixties). Also, it does not matter who he marries. Only he knows whether that person is right for him. He's the only one who can decide that. And he made his choice. I think she is really lucky.

from my observation, i think kimutaku looks thin when he grows hair. if you see him in pride, he looks like someone's husband . but now, with long hair, he looks very young as same as the time he's acting in love generation.
my observation is based on the latest live show such as smapxsmap n utaban. visitwww.takuyasea.com for the latest clips.
p.s:- i think 2005 is a special year for smap as they include the number 05 at the back of the name, e.g SMAP05, smapxsmap05. the reason? simple. they have 5 members in the group.

frankly speaking... I think he has gained a little weight recently based on the recent mag pictures...
His long hair is ok and so far the best pictures I saw with his recent long hair has to be the one in the Anan mag two or three weeks back... Love it!
I would much prefer him with short hair.. Something like Shinkai's hair in "Good Luck", Halu's hair in "Pride" and Ryo's hair in "Sorakara"~
My fav hairstyle has to be the "Good Luck" one... Very short and kakkoii~~~ ^_^

takuya is possibly one of the most charismatic guy ive ever seen
sure, he aint pretty like some of them out there, but when he's on screen, he sizzles... and u cant take your eyes off him
he's got that aura, that charm about him
there's those drop-dead gorgeous ones like takeshi kaneshiro, hyde(of band, L'Arc~en~Ciel), makoto(ex-Aucifer)....
but takuya's just takuya.... he's somewhat irreplaceable
and when he smiles, u just, literally, melt
and thats why he's still japan's most prolific & iconic artiste up til now
Kimura-san is very good on everything he do. very good. and he very smart. also good to look at. someone say he have attitude in Smap Bistro on SMAPxSMAP and he got temper. is true?
Kimura's new drama will start in April and it will be about car racing! The script is written by the same person who wrote "Good Luck" and "Gift". I can so imagine Kimura wearing a helmet and the uniform... so kakkoii looking~~~
The main theme for this drama will be "Love and Dreams..." It seems that the storyline's about a racer who came back to Japan due to some disputes while racing overseas. He then meets a group of children and these children kinda changed his life. Do I smell a stubborn character over here right now? -_-"
Does that mean that he will cut his hair soon? I have a feeling he will just trim it. Imagine him taking off his helmet and then his long hair falls into place...
The supporting cast is still undecided. I think the names should be out soon... ^_^

From his previous drama, PRIDE which is around 1 year plus, this drama's theme is about, "Love and Dreams" and the writer of this drama is Yumiko who wrote [SHIROI KYOTO], they hoped that this drama will acheive another viewer-ship breakthrough.
The fans is still fresh in mind of Takuya's role in PRIDE as hockery player and now he is challenging the role as a car-racer, he express: "It's a long time since I last acted, currently we are preparing for the drama, hoped that we will work together in harmony (referring to the all staffs) and that the drama will be a success.
