Finished watching "Sekai no chuushin de ai wo sakebu",dorama version.
It is now my favorite of all time. I also watched the movie version just to compare, and the dorama is definitely better. The music, scenery, directing,
and most of all ,acting is better.

Hey Trick is playing on my video system presently. It is GOOD! No wonder they have sequels after the first season. The stories are intriguing and I love it the way they solve the mystery behind the tricks. A must watch for J-fans who like to think as they watch a show.

I just started watching
101 kaime no puropozu" aka 101 proposals / The 101st proposal"
I got the show because it had a few of my favorites in it:
Takeda Tetsuya, Kinpachi Sensei
Eguchi Yosuke, Under One Roof, Tokyo Love Story, Shinsengumi etc.
and Ishida Yuriko, Shotgun Marriage, Overtime.
But as keeps happening to me when I watch older Japanese TV shows, someone amazing crops up and blows me away.
In this case, it's the lead, Asano Atsuko. I'd never seen any of Asano's work before, but she's... Fabulous!
I've developed a rule lately. One episode of one show per day. That's it. No exceptions. If I don't, I can gorge myself, and burn through a whole series in one sitting. And then I have nothing to watch.
But last night I couldn't help myself. Once the first episode ended, I had to watch the next. _________________
