Hrm... what would be cool if there was an official "Out of Print" thread for OSTs, so we know which ones we legally share.

For example, I went to try to buy GTO's OST at Japantown SF a month ago, and they looked it up and said it was out of print, they couldn't get it.

Similarly, for those on a budget (students, etc.) I can understand acquiring a copy instead of a legal original.

On a positive note, I was recently able to acquire a new (legal) CD of the With Love OST. Waiting for it in the mail.

.hack is an anime, boring show but the soundtracks are nice, it was composed by the famous see-saw

And yes, I do buy originals too.. I'm trying to provide those out-of-print albums. (Admittedly, I'm not averse to 'sharing' either ). I guess my policy is, buy originals as often as you can.

I was expecting to have the GTO ost up already, but the darn thing kept shutting my computer down just as yousendit was about to finish off - at least, it seems to me that that is when it shut down....so I have broken it into 3 parts, and I am upping them now...so we'll see. I'll be back shortly (I hope) witht the links
