I watched baseball for the first time on sunday! Being english, we really aren't too exposed to it over here (It's all about the cricket don't you know!)
But an american flatmate of mine now plays for the county team, so went to watch him play. Was a great day! nice just sitting around on the field in the sun and chilling out, would have been better if there were hotdogs mind!

Thanks Smile

Did anyone see the latest south park? All about little league baseball, kinda amusing! Did make a point about it being kinda boring, sorry if I offend! It's like cricket in many ways, which although a great game, can indeed be a little boring to watch compared to other sports!

Will try to catch as many games as I can in future though! Sunday nights is generally 'American sports' down at my student union, and now the football season is over I guess they might show some baseball...

No offense taken... Yeah, there's a lot of inaction in baseball, but the tension/suspense of something possibly happening makes it exciting and unique... Smile

Dodger win a wild one in Arizona, 8-7, thanks to a four-run ninth inning. w00t!
