Anyone have this movie or knows where i can find/buy(not online) it?This movie is about a 17 year old girl named Ayu doesn't know the true meaning of love. She sells her body to people because she has no money for her family. She meets Keita (I don't know his name in the movie XD) and starts to know what love really is.One of the main lead is Keita Furuya from a boyband called LEAD.Can check out this site http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NPDX-1

I dont think it wld be that fast if you dont want to buy it online....they are only starting to release it in Taiwan so think it will take a while before you can actually buy them

hmm didn't know there was a thread for this movie....
Well I just kind of found out about this movie, and I saw/have the trailer for it and kind of go interested in it...well also because I'm curious at how good the LEAD boy's acting is..his character's name is Yoshiyuki I think...
There is also a series of this I heard, I'm downloading it, but I haven't seen it yet, I would like to see both the Movie and drama... _________________

I saw the movie a few months back and I wasn't impressed to say the least. The acting was very poor, especially the actress who played Ayu (the main character). In the emotional scenes, she appeared expressionless and monotone.
As well the movie went at too fast of a pace to get attached to any of the characters. It's understandable since it was a movie adapted from a cell phone novel (which has a maximum of about 2000 words per chapter) so the scenes often do seem episodic, but I think they could have expanded on the characters a bit more.
I've seen in some manga anthologies (like "Friend") advertising a Japanese drama that's running right now that is another adaptation of "deep love" starring the same main guy character (the guy in Lead) but not the same actress for Ayu.
I haven't seen it so I can't comment on it, but I think judging from the novel itself, it'll be more effective drawn out into a 12-episode series because there's just too much going on to fit it into a movie less than two hours and have it work.

i think keita furuya starred in the drama too....
the story is based on a cell phone novel, which is now popular among japanese high school student....
im watching the drama now, total 13 episodes, each episode about 30 mins long, i like it although is abit dark, the story potrayed the other side of japanese teenagers, drugs, sex......
and people below 15 shouldnt watch it, cus theres are sex scenes in almost every episode i watched...... since the girl Ayu, is selling her body to gain money...... _________________
I saw "Deep Love" earlier this year, too. And I have to agree--it was not at all impressive due to poor acting and an emotionless cast. Most of what should have been shocking or at least sickening went so fast and brushed over the characters so simply that we most felt like, "Oh, maybe that's wrong--or bad. But the acting is too bad to even notice anything else."
I read some of "Deep Love: Ayu no Monogatari" as a comic in the bookstore one day by chance--it was very graphic and blunt with the first scene ending with Ayu finishing "pleasing" one of her male customers. She later visits a friend of hers who is male and also asks for a moment of "pleasure" but she says no because there's no money involved.
In the film, Ayu doesn't use the money for anything. At all. She just saves it. We've no idea why Ayu turned out to be this way.
Perhaps this is clearer in the drama or the novel/comics themselves. Most people who sell their bodies for insane amounts of money to anyone who asks in 2 minutes usually have a reason or something motivating them. Especially when one is not on hard drugs, as Ayu was.
Was this a true story from the cellphone thingy I wonder? If so, I'm hoping there was more to it than just selling her body because she lived in Tokyo.

Here's a little summary of it....
Ayu saw the world pessimistically because she slept with numerous men for money. Her life changed after meeting an old lady and she finally stopped prostitution. She had developed a close relationship with Obaachan. But her friendship with obaachan ended after the old lady's death. Obaachan's death introduced Ayu to a young man named Yoshiyuki. Ayu knew that Obaachan want Yoshiyuki to live well but she knew that Yoshiyuki has heart problems and he needs surgery. Ayu has to go back to prostitution in able to get the money for Yoshiyuki's surgery...
