Hi, Recently, I came across a website which mentioned that the script writer for the ever popular drama-Long Vacation is working on its sequel. Just want to know if anyone has heard of such news before.

Yes i have heard it before and it is true that the will start filming early next year.Yutaka Takenouchi is being repalced by Takashi Kaneshiro while Hideaki Takizawa,Yuka is also the new characthers.The story starts of after they have married and Ryoko Hirosue is in France too

Really?? It's confirmed already? Where did you read that confirmation? Because i heard this news like 1 or 2 years back, and at that time they said it was just rumours. And i was disappointed. But now it is confirmed?? I am SO EXCITED!!!

oh my god...really?????? aaaaaa..i can't wait...do you know what's the title??? takizawa hideaki damn cute...but i don't like yuki.. but who cares bout' her... i'm looking forward for that show!!!!!!!! with takizawa and takashi in the in it's worth waiting.. update me with that drama

The title is just Long Vacation2 and the show will start filming in early next year and the VCD will come out not long after that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I�m not too excited I would rather wish that they did a sequel of Love Generation instead then I would have been much much happier!!!!!

I don't think its true. For one, the article was written on 27/8/2000. This rumour has been around for the longest time.....as much as I wish for a sequel. I've also checked with the webmaster of Takuya Kimura Groundbreaker @www.incomparable.net. which website has the latest reliable info on Takuya Kimura-san. Apparently its not true....OK people don't cry (can hear you guys loud and clear!). Just pray that the troubles Takuya Kimura and the SMAP members are facing will be over soon, so that we'll see more of them in new dramas.

If u dont believe that Long Vacation2 is coming along,u can check dgurl's url and it is true.The producers of the drama has comfirmed that they are making the sequel and even Tomoko Yamaguchi that retired is even making a comeback.

I would be VERY HAPPY if it were true!!^O^ Despite the fact, that my most fave dorama is actually Love Generation...but, hey, all my favorite stars will be playing in this LV sequel!!!^_~ But, yeah...I kinda doubt it, since the rumors are around the year 2000, and nothing has been confirm till now... curian, mind telling me which URL you refer to as "dgurl's URL"??O_O is it the article written on August 2000?? or not? are you sure the producers confirmed that around these time around...that is December 2001??? or, did u hear it a long time ago? I'm sorry, if I'm being annoying,,,it's just it's TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!^^ I need some convincing confirmation on this!

Yup, I'm keen to know which is dgurl'sURL as well... wanna check out the latest info. By the way, if you guys have any idea on this, I have this question about Kimura- can he really perform like a concert pianist(the way he acted in the show?

No he can't. The real piano player in the drama is Matsu Takako, she really is an accomplished pianist. Not sure about Yutaka Takenuchi tho. But I must say, that Takuya Kimura was convincing in his acting as a pianist- but then again, he is a good actor!

oh, i c...that URL =((( If that's the URL, then, I'm not too convinced about the rumor...that was also the FIRST URL i came across bout LV2.... I think the whole section was written in 2000, and she said that the shooting of the drama would be on early next year...which means January 2001, and predicted will be broadcast on Japan around mid-May 2001....well, we are now on December 2001...so, I guess it's not happening.... I feel like crying.....=(((((( Oh well, hopefully...I mis-interpreted what the webmaster said or there are some typos...like '2001' suppose to be '2002' ^___^ _________________ "Let's create a world without war together"
