hope that helps ^_^
And it shows on the UTB station in San Diego, too, and shortly in the Bay Area as noted above.
Southern California folks who'd like to discuss without fear of spoilers (I'm constantly having to avert my eyes in this thread) are welcome to check out the E̒SŁA (Crying Out, in the Center of the World) thread at the California board. Sorry, Bay Area friends: you'll still need to do a little eye-shielding (but less than here). _________________

I tried signing up for that site but it was confusing. It seems to take you to some general runboard site and I couldn't figure out how to navigate to the appropriate web site.

Agreed. I've gotten many complaints about the Runboard registration process. You indeed sign up for an account that works with all their sites, not each individual site.
I have a low-priority project going to replace their entire registration page since their code is structured such that that is actually possible. Actually, my main motivation for replacing the stock registration page is so that I can make it available in multiple languages. _________________

Watched it last weekend. Cried alot over the first few episodes esp when the grown up Saku-chan came back and his memories of Aki came flowing back...... but I think it became draggy towards the end... She took too long to die!! In any case, the theme song is a good listen.

HI I HAD SEEN JDORAMA BEFORE BUT THIS IS IT. IT'S THE BEST ONE I'D SEEN YET. GREAT CAST AND STORY LINE. GOOD CHEMISTRY. NOW I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE. I LOVE WATCHING JAPANESE AND KOREAN MINI SERIES, DRAMA OR COMEDY. BETTER THAN AMERICAN. HERE TO LONG AND NO POINT. BY THE WAY, CAN YOU GUYS TELL ME OR RECOMMEND ANY MORE JDORAMA? MUCH APRRECIATED. THANK U.
I KNOW THERE'S A MOVIE VERSION OF THIS STORY, JUST WONDERING IF IT IS AS GOOD AS THE TV MINI SERIES. AND WHERE CAN I GET THE BOOK OR MOVIE. I WENT TO A LOCAL BOOK STORE HERE AT LONG BEACH AND CAN'T FIND ANY.

My recommendation: Beautiful Life
The movie is as good as the TV-Drama. You can get it at Yesasia, Layoyo, DVDFromKorea and other asian mail order shops. The Book is not available in English, afaik only in Japanese, Chinese and Korean, a German translation will be out in 2006. The Chinese and Japanese version are available at Yesasia. _________________

Skip the movie??? Honestly, I watched the Dorama on TV... and couldn't get into it as much as the movie... The movie mad me bawl like a little girl.... Plus, you have Osawa Takao and Shibasaki Kou in the movie...
The pacing in the movie is just great... plus you get much better acting...
