KBS drama "18 year old bride"(nang rang 18 seh) aka Sweet 18/ Little Bride is an interesting and funny drama to watch... ^^
it's about a highschool girl(Han Ji Hye) who's about to marry an attorney(Lee Dong Gun).
That series is also good, it's currently showing here. Anyways, it's funny especially the character that Han Ji Hye is portraying. It's a feel good series.
I guess I'm the only one here at jdorama.com that so in love with I'm Sorry I Love You. My pick as best 2004 k-drama watched Full House,My Sis in Law is 19 n various 2004 kdramas n still can't find anything that can beat this ISILY
i LOVED Misa, damn i cried, definately one of my favs.

Waahh! So happy to hear that many of you feel the same way as I do about kdrama. fybabe, alatariel, atata & some others whose names I missed out. Especially the Singaporeans! Boring, predictable, very trying in making you cry, draggy, always same old story line. There isn't much social issues huh it seems, alot of domestic tragedies only. I heard that err... Lovers In Paris or soemthing is not bad from a Jdrama fan though... how's that one? Sure, Kdrama is not all bad but it's 90% of the drama that's bad! Now isn't that bad enough? Hahaha! I'm quite annoyed with the K-pop dominating in Singapore market right now, so hard to find J drama or J drama soundtracks too! KT-san, don't be discouraged, you should go watch & judge it yourself... hehehe... but I hope you won't switch to learning Korean rather than Japanese, I'm still hoping to talk to you in romanji
"Sure, Kdrama is not all bad but it's 90% of the drama that's bad!"
Just want to point out that its YOUR opinion ;P
and saying jap is like saying nigger to a black
ooh thank you, sure, it's my opinion & everyone is stating their opinion here isn't it? It's also your opinion "jap" is equivalent to "nigger". Who started this term "nigger" anyway? Singaporeans are not known for any racism, I wonder which nationality has the most problem with that?

hahaha.. very funny you! I agree but if you notice, there are peope who fight for rights & appear "righteous", sigh! It's tiring ne! Then how else to espress ourselves if we have to use neutral words all the time. Hey, but atata-san, I know a Korean girl & she's excpetionally adorable. But of course I believe when we make comments like this, it's in general, not syaing all 100% we don't like. Just that some people are ultra-sensitive to that. Hehe... nevermind lah, cultural difference again lah.

Its ok to speak the truth and express your thoughts or feel....i think its just choice of words that you need to work on....like instead of "hate" use "dislike" they both pretty much mean the same, but hate sounds so harsh... _________________

Nothing wrong with the truth, but you also have to consider people's feelings, ne?

Lol.. cos channel U keep showing kr dramas. I thought they were going to show more jp dramas aft good luck!, but no, they went back to kr drama. Although channel 8 is showing but it is either a repeat or old drama.
One thing good abt kr dramas, i find, is that even u skip a few episodes u will still be able to follow the story. I admit some story plots are pretty good but i prefer a faster pace.

That is a good thing
Have u guys heard of "Did we really love" or something like that....it was a korean drama my brother rented. He said it was pretty good and caught his interest quickly. I was just wondering if it follows the kdrama trend that was listed here, i didn't watch this _________________

I watched K-drama a few times but never like it. Probably most of the plots are kinda slowwwwww and over dramatic that almost like the taiwanese dramas, crying for the sake of crying.
BUT,
K-movies are definitely worth watching. It seems like they are better producing movies than dramas.
Eg, Brotherhood, My sassy girl, Old Boy, etc.
And they do have decent looking actor like Won Bin. i guess he looks much better than Kimura. Kimura is one of the most over-rated actor.
At least he acts better than kimura? Yes , no? If you notice, Kimura had this typical signature acting for almost every dorama he acted. Smirk smile with heck-care attitude towards women.

Actually, I don't mind dissenting or different opinions at all, as long as they are expressed in an respectful manner and there is logic behind the choices.
i watched Attic Cat and i thought it was so-so. to me it was somewhat long and some parts dragged on and on. and the actors' acting were mediocre. it's like they just say their lines and not much feeling coming out. i hate the parts when the leading female would cry over her guy roommate who is a freeloader and bad gambler who is being chased by a bunch of bad guys for his gambling debt. and he was such a flirt and a liar. always chasing after that one b-tchy witch (his college classmate) who is so freaking mean. but he still got the hots for her even when she does the bad things. in the end, him and his roommate end up together after so many ridiculous fights and a few years apart.
in general - i hate korean dramas. they are too long and boring! usually use the same old lines and too much crying! talk about being melodramatic! and the bad acting makes it not believable. and plus i hate korean movies too. i watched one and that was it. boring! like hell!
i have also watched many Taiwanese dramas, i like some of them. but then when i watched Japanese dramas, i totally fell in love with them and the acting is super good and they are short! i like the fact that Japanese dramas last like 11 episodes instead of the 20-40 Korean and Taiwanese dramas.

I didn't think attic cat was all that bad. When i first watched it, I found it kinda interesting. I guess if you expect a lot out of dramas and the actors/actresses in it going in and don't get what you expect, it ruins the fun and enjoyment you would've gotten if you just watch dramas for the fun of it _________________

yeah true. but i found it kinda long. they could have made it shorter. it was a lot of the same thing going back and forth with the same arguments about him being lazy, not earning money for the rent and food, he kept complaining about eating the same foods and wanting meat, he kept chasing after that mean rich girl who was a very b-tchy witch and did bad things to his roommate. and to think those 2 girls were "friends". who needs enemies when she got friends like that. i think the only part i kinda liked was when her boss wanted her to be his girlfriend. cuz he was decent and treat her good and believe in her. but she end up with her roommate. oh well. but the leads always end up together. still i think this drama was a bit long and draggy in the middle.
