Yes, I have RSG (hydeless version) and will upload and edit this post when it's done.
There was The Best of L'arc en ciel 2003 and Hyde's Reontgen(english ver.) Was considering of buying em... are they any good?? Yeah, I'm very stingy at buying stuff XD!!!
Thanks for reminder of the name title ne, Amran-san ^^
Welcome Starry! Is "The Best of L'arc en ciel 2003" album you mentioned the "Clicked Singles Best" album? If it's the Clicked Singles Best, I definitely recommend that one! It's a really good album to start with if you're new to L'Arc~en~Ciel I liked the Japanese version of the Roentgen album better than the English version, mostly because I prefer listening to HYDE singing in Japanese than English The Roentgen albums have a very different sound than L'Arc...very mellow, slow, sweet songs.

oh thx blade san
were tetsu, ken, or yukihiro ready include in RSG single?
As far as i know in RSG single were tetsuless, kenless, yuhihiroless
The tetsu, ken, yukihiro ready songs were included in the Hitomi no Jyuunin single.
And thanks everyone for all of the song links! Still resisting listening to them though...

Yeah, I feel kinda weird hearing Japanese singing English ^^" But I heard that Hyde's English is quite understandable =3!!
In some songs, I find I can understand hyde's english very well, but in others, the pronounciation is not that good

I like more the old songs than the new ones (Smile album)...recently laruku is lacking of inspiration. they are too commercial. sorry my english is not too good.

Hi, i think that the old songs are better too i.e. Ark/Ray and earlier.
On them being commercial, I think its inevitable. There are so many singers/groups in Japan and its hard to survive (if you look at their not-so-good sales figures in recent years, you will understand ). At the end of the day, you want to sell your songs. But I thought their activities after the hiatus were quite good, coming up with interesting songs and beautiful lyrics. If you consider how bands like Glay have degenerated over the years, I think L'Arc has done a good job in staying at the top.

I really don't have a problem with Smile or their even more recent material; I like the direction. Yet, I must admit that I still prefer the older stuff (pre-Yukihiro days) the most. This has nothing to do with Yukihiro, though, I do consider him to be a better drummer than Sakura.
Oh and Hi, I'm new here.
Also, if anyone wants L'Arc~en~Ciel PVs, you can always get them on DC++ pretty easily. I have gotten most of the 39 PVs I have plus a large number of live videos with it.
I think I have all of the PVs except for the Brilliant Years one, which I have heard exists but have never seen anywhere. Anyone here have it?

Yah, I have listened to their old stuff too. I agree with a lot of what everyone else has said. I love both their new and old stuff. I like their old stuff a little better, but their new stuff is good too. Just a different style. I guess groups have to adjust their style to fit the current sound if they want to continue to be successful. I still think laruku makes wonderful music. They are so talented.

What is this "DC++"? I've never heard of it, but it sounds very interesting! Wow, 39 PV's? I had no idea they had so many!
Hmm...I have video clip that has Brilliant Years playing, but it's not really a PV...looks like a promotional video for some of their singles (vivid colors, and she said) and album (heavenly). You interested?

I also prefer the old song rather than the new one. Coz at the past they really showed their skill how to play instrument and mixed with a great lyrics and music. And things that turned me really love larc is because they had written many song with wide variety of things. I mean they're really universal to make a song, for example like "Neo universe", RSG, Perferct Blue, and etc. See how they have a brilliant idea to make songs.
And every member of that group also contibute to make a song, at least one song. I run out words how to describe them, they're too excellent.... _________________
It's a program that you create an account with and can connect to what are called hubs. The hubs are typically for a certain type of file, and yes there are about 2 pretty big jrock hubs, and anime hubs also tend to have a fair share of L'Arc~en~Ciel as well. You share whatever files you want, and you can download whatever you want from other people. Give it a try.
If you want to find the jrock hubs, when you open up and connect to DC++, you should see a couple buttons at the top and one of them says "public hubs" click that and then you will see a HUGE list of public hubs that you can thankfully search through for key words by using the little text window below it and typing in "jrock" and hitting enter.
Connect to the hubs that it finds and then look for the magnifying glass button for "search" and search for "L'Arc en Ciel." It is better to put no "~" or "-" between the words, because if you do it only finds the files for when people spell it with that exactly, but if you don't put any in, it finds all the files for when people spelled it all three different ways. Also, make sure to search for "Video" only, so you don't get a couple hundred mp3s as well.
AAHH, one last annoying thing about DC++, everyone has a certain number of slots. This means how many different people can be downloading from them at one time. People typically only have 3-5 slots, and when you do a search it will show something like "0/5" next to the file name. This means that they have no slots left and you can't download from them just yet, and more often than not, most people have no slots left.
Good luck

I've seen this around on DC++, but haven't been able to get it just yet. Thanks for explaining what it is, though. There still might be a real PV out there somewhere....

I agree that their older stuff is more j-pop, and I also agree that I generally like rock more than pop...but there is just something about Tierra and Heavenly that make those two my favorite of their albums.
