I watched this drama bcos of Shiabasaki Kou, and i'm glad tat she didn't disappoint me...
Altho she doesn't has any dialouge for the whole series until the last episode, jus watching her gesturing wif the sign languages got me soo hooked. I can't help but say her facial expressions make wanna hug her cos it's so darn cute!!!
The ending was great, n really touching... Phew.
I'm looking for the OST of this drama, so it'd be kind for anyone to upload it. Thanks a bunch.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out by telling me the name of this song...

In Episode 10 @ the time 34:29, when she opens up the picture. It sounds like Asian Kung Fu Generation, but I'm not sure. Crazy

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Just finished this series. I loved it too. Just an excellent drama in all respects. I think what made this drama so effective was that all the characters seemed so realistic. The story has been done before and was nothing new, but the down-to-earth tone of the drama made it easy to immediately relate to the characters.

yeah exactly ... the story is not new .. but i loved the cast and their acting in it. fun fun .. while serious and deep at times also ...

this is the type of drama like long vacation n all that u can see again and again .. and have fun even though u know the story.

and frankly i wonder how did they choose the cast .... did these people already know sign language or did they all learn it for the show.

cause damn ... it isn't easy to perform so confidently with it ... ALL throughout the show

and for KOU ... to not speak at all all throughout and only sign ... the whole character comes down to acting skills ... very goood

I LOVE this drama as well. The plot is relatively simple and ordinary, but what makes it memorable to me is the impressive actings from the cast. Everyone did a fantastic job portraying his respective character. Plus, the down-to-earth tone of the drama makes it very easy for me to relate to the characters and what they had to go through.
A truly classic drama that is so refreshing and youthful to watch that I can watch it over and over again and still enjoy it like the first time I watched. Highly recommended Good

Come to think of it, it certainly isnt't easy to learn much sign languages for this drama. Kudos to the entire cast. Applaud
Btw, are the sign languages used in the show universal? Or are they only for the Japanese?

The sign language they used is apparently specific to Japan. I read somewhere that there was a discussion about the signing used in Orange Days and referring to Japanese sign language. I know the signs used in Orange Days are different from those used in the U.S. for the same terms, for example, arigatou/thank you.

REALLY !!! wow .. i thought such type of communication would be universal

cause i was thinking of the same .. like arigatou/gomne were very common. so i wondered if it was like this everywhere.

hats of to the cast for it.

Oh YES!! Btw, Swing Girls is a highschool movie, whereas Orange Days is about college life drama. They're totally different, but both are great of course. Both had young, energetic cast with a youthful theme.
