My favourite role is with no doubt Shuji from Beautiful Life.
Then I really like Shinkai (good luck!!).
After watching Pride I think also halu is a good role, soo good.

My favourite role that Takuya's role:

Teppei - Love Generation
Shuji - Beautiful Life
Shinkai - Good Luck
Halu- Pride


Actually All the roles he played.. I loved it so much..

my fav would be Teppei from Love Generation. he is so sweet.
and Shinkai is good too.

Takuya is perfect in every character. I can't imagine some other actor acting as halu or other takuya's character.

Soo desu!!! I haven't found yet a drama with Takuya in that have made me feel disappointed! And I don't think I won't find.

Lol Halu is a special character just like everyone else he played! It's a fascinating character, that's nothing to say, when I was watching the first episode I turned like this when I saw Halu's behaviour! Mh I don't know it seems the right time that can fascinate women but at the same time he can't fully satisfy them.(just because of his cold way of behaving)

Like everyone else, I love all of Takuya's character. Though my number 1 would be Ryo in One Million Stars, I find that spot now being challenged by Takeshi in Wakamono Subete. Both characters are not kakkoii in the sense that they are not in any cool professions like Halu or Shinkai or even promising careers like Sena and Teppei.

Ryo and Takeshi - drifting in life because of haunting pasts.

I feel for Takeshi who felt responsible for his friends comatose stage and eventual death. I felt how he wanted to be back among his friends but still have that wall of guilt around him. I felt how he wanted to start loving someone but was afraid.

Hi there, if you can read Mandarin, you can try Yahoo HK auctions. That's where I got my copy of Sora Kara Furu Ichioku No Hoshi dvd set... The clarity of the dvd set is just astounding even though it's not the official Japanese set. Hope that helps.

Takuya has worked with Matsu Takako, Shibasaki Kou, Koyuki (bad pairing ), Yuko Takeuchi, Tokiwa Takako, & Yamaguchi Tomoko. The question is, who would you like takuya be paired with in his next 12 episode drama?

Top 3 pick and why:

*Esumi Makiko = I think she'v been paired with takuya b4 in a 1 ep drama. Would love to see esumi to be like her character Shomuni with takuya. Look wise, both hav powerful features so they will look great 2gether.

*Yada Akiko = Love her in Hotman. Perfect for girlish quirky character.

*Nakama Yukie = Interesting pairing. Would love to see her being elegant and mysterious.

Worth mention:

*Ayase Haruka (Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu)
I don't think they would likely paired takuya with her becoz tha age gap, but she's a wonderful actress. It would definately be a hit if they work together.
