my guess would be "transplantation"... but if this would be the regular word for "transplantation" i think google images wouldn't turn up only pictures of people shaking hands at meetings... so we still don't know >_<

Haha thanks everyone, I'm pretty befuddled myself. It's from a scene in Love Revolution actually where the doctor says ���� 302 (and something about "shall I stick to the usual procedure"). And I'm like ??? It's during an operation and just before the patient is stitched up.

This might be some jargon that you would only use on the job...

okay im new to japanese and have never tried to learn it before and have never spoken it before. i have been learning for about 4 days now and all i am able to do so far is ask if someone can speak my language, ask for directions to a particular place and ask/order food that doesnt seem like much to me and i was wondering is there anyway that i can speed up my learning to speak japanese??? is there a paricular method of learning that works best??? like subliminal japanese or audio learning or tv courses or is reading the best way???

any help would be appreciated

I suggest (if you didn't already learn this by it) to listen to the very popular Pimsleur Learn Japanese "tapes" (read: mp3's). They provide many basic sentences, most are like these tourist kind of things. If you start thinking you are getting a clue of japanese grammar and sentence constructions, you might want to dig into sites explaining japanese grammar. To understand japanese grammar, you should have at least some amount of vocabulary in the back of your head to 'project' this grammar on. I think after a few of the pimsleur tapes you could start trying.
Then, if you are able to say these sentenses: "I go" "I want to go" "I went" "I'm going" "I didn't want to go" "please go" "please don't go" "are you going?" "why are you going" "lets go!" etcetera
and you have learned how to say them for all the 'groups' of japanese verbs, you have build a basis and all is left is learning many many words and expanding your grammar knowledge.
Oh ofcourse understanding "hiragana" (japanese phonetic script) is very important. Understanding would be: knowing all the that sounds are in it (which make up the jpns language). Optionally is writing and recognizing them... This way you will at least know how to correctly write (and remember):
"doumo arigatou gozaimasu" and you can more easily recognize sounds.

What does "bimyou" mean - I've checked my Japanese dictionary but it does not seem to make much sense to me. It's described as "subtle, delicate, ticklish" - is that correct?

I've never heard the term �i��� used to describe someone.
I've checked in my dictionary and a couple of other resources and can't find a thing.
If you could provide the context that it was in, it might be helpful

�i��� is a noun that refers to the format or the process of doing something.

Eg:

�ނ͌������̒i���𐮂����B(Kare ha kekkonshiki no dandori wo totonoeta.)
"He made the arrangements for the wedding ceremony."

�d���͗��N����̒i��肾�B(Shigoto ha raigetsu kara no dandori da.)
(In the format of things,) That job will start next year.
