hmm.. if i'm not wrong they are not two different languages.. they come from mandarin.. cantonese is a dialect of mandarin just like teochew, hokkien, hakka.. etc.. it's just that it's more often heard..

all the others....cantonese..hokkien etc..r sub-chinese language mandarin is the main 1 cantonese derives from mandarin same goes to the others... whenever ppl ask "do u know how to speak chinese" what they meant was mandarin...

Is he the same guy that starred in the drama Goldne Bowl? I think i might have seen him in the Returner. He was very good.

Takeshi Kaneshiro has lent his voice and face to Onimusha: Warlords on PS2. Dunno how many times I've said this, hehe! If you haven't played the game, go buy or rent it! Expect him to return in Onimusha 3. The game will also feature a French actor Jean Reno! he's my fave actor Onimusha 3 is out Spring 2004.

Yep it a great game. Gonna buy Onimusha 3 , i also heard that a fighting game version will be release as well.

Hehe! Capcom is milkin the cow, $$$. Onimusha-battle -something is similar to Power Stone-series. Players fight off each other in multiplatfrom stages. Up to 4 players. Capcom should come up with a fresh concept, if they keep on milkin with old and used concepts, I'm sure their revenues will go down. I wonder how many Resident Evils and Street Fighters there will be Shake Head

Just a quick reminder...the sales at Capcom has gone down "nicely" compared to last year, hehe.

hokkien plays an important role in Penang...
other than that...cantonese n mandarin is the main 1

yeap..onimusha great game.. violence~ but i stopped playing after that dont really like onimusha 2 so?..takeshi kaneshiro is back in onimusha 3?

I've seen the movie few days ago..it's entertaining although at times I feel like it's too good to be true! hehe, but nevertheless...I still enjoy it! recommended for those who love poems and good written script. and kaneshiro's voice..you just hope he keeps on talking nurgee
